  • List and summarize the principles of rehabilitation
  • Describe rehabilitation techniques for rotator cuff injuries
Behavioral Objectives
  1. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to justify 4 principles of non-operative rehabilitation in relation to shoulder soft tissue balance, to restore good ROM and painless joint function in a patient with sub acromial impingement.
  2. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to create a comprehensive rehab program using the 3 stages described for the non-operative management of a patient with sub acromial impingement.
  3. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to incorporate 4 ROM exercises of a conservative rehab program for a patient with capsular impingement.
  4. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to integrate 4 treatment modalities to reduce inflammation, into a treatment program for a patient with compressive cuff disease or tendinosis.
  5. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to develop a treatment program including 5 exercises for a patient with rotator cuff lesions.
