Learning Goals

Upon completion of this class, you should be able to:

  • List and summarize the principles of rehabilitation
  • Describe rehabilitation techniques for the rotator cuff and adhesive capsulitis
Behavioral Objectives
  1. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to develop a comprehensive rehab program using 3 stages described in the course, for the non-operative management of a patient with subacromial impingement.
  2. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to incorporate 4 ROM exercises of a conservative rehab program, for a patient with capsular impingement.
  3. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to integrate 4 treatment modalities to reduce inflammation, into a treatment program for a patient with compressive cuff disease or tendinosis.
  4. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to develop a treatment program including 5 exercises for a patient with rotator cuff lesions.
  5. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to identify the 4 stages of Adhesive Capsulitis, for a patient with frozen shoulder or AC.
  6. Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to will develop a comprehensive protocol using 3 techniques outlined in the course, for rehabilitation of a patient with the diagnosis of Adhesive Capsulitis or (frozen shoulder).
  7. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to integrate 4 techniques for treating stage III non-Adhesive, (Capsulitis or frozen shoulder) while the patient is in the recovery stage of treatment and is just experiencing stiffness.
