This telecast will include lecture citing the latest research in the Treatment of Patellar Tendinopathies. Dr. Wilk discusses & illustrates the treatment of Patellar tendinitis & Patellar tendinosis. Through lecture and live demonstration Dr. Wilk explains the treatment plans utilizing eccentric exercise, laser therapy, soft tissue mobilization, iotonophoresis, stretching and various other physical therapy treatments. This live webtelecast will also be available to students who were unable to view the live webtelecast. Participants who view the on-demand webtelecast will be required to demonstrate mastery of the presented materials through completion of an online assessment or test.

1.   For a patient with a patellar tendon injury, identify 3 steps in the Tendinosis cycle that may have caused Tendinopathies.

2.   For a patient with a patellar tendon injury, demonstrate 4 effects of eccentric exercise for a patient in recovery.

3.   For Athletes involved in sports that have sustained a patellar tendon injury, apply 3 treatment techniques for Tendinopathies.
